Well some serious cage changes have happened over here, including a ZZ2 and a new terrarium for Aisling. I will be getting a new shelving unit for Boo, Gus and Winnie this week so I wanted to take a picture of how it looks now as I kind of like it, and I'm a bit worried about the new one haha, so here we go

The rodent pad aka my apartment lol

we have Merlin by himself obviously, Winnie and Gus on the shelf, Boo by herself, and on the red shelf is Mowgli, Aisling and Toothless

The Zoo Zone 2!!! So huge

the inside is slowly coming together

most amazing wheel ever and it's home made

Boo's turn!

The blue care fresh was a gift from my best friend to go with the wheel I got her for christmas haha, and the Strawberry house is a great stash for her dog bones apparently!

Mowgli:

carved by my best friend to go with the woodland theme

Finally Aisling's new terrarium, it's 40x40, as in anything bigger she flips out for some reason, so we figured this would be best, and she LOVES it

she likes her new cabin especially

Where did you get this bin from? Do you know the measurements in cm? =)
It is a Wham 110 litre bin and measures externally 80x40x42cm, they can be bought from The Range with a clear lid for about £10, from Asda online with a black lid for £13, on Amazon with a clear lid for £13 and from Tesco in a two pack for £28. I use them for rescue syrians due to being reasonably sized, big enough for a 12 inch wheel and a good depth of substrate but id say they are definately ideal dwarfy homes as you could easily put 20cm substrate + wheels and toys for them in here.

Apollo's ZZ2 - (Alexander on it's way!!)

Her Paula is dining area, one of her water bottles, bedroom and sandbath/toilet. She also has 3 hammocks in there now. Combi 1 has a coconut house in now, 2 toilet roll tubes and some millet. The KIOS is her digging/play area with her wheel, another water bottle and 7 tubes she is a tubeaholic!

I did a video tour of the cages in another thread because my camera died with the pictures but now here are the pictures!

Penny's (Syrian) Mamble (in America it's called Ferret Kit 100).

Bob's (Syrian) Kevin 82

Patch's (Robo) Sterilite Bin Cage

Snow's (Robo) Sterilite Bin Cage (for some reason it looks smaller than it is in the from the top perspective)

Strawberry's (Dwarf) FOP Gabbia Tamburino Natura

I plan to get Strawberry a wooden rope bridge from Dr. Foster Smith's website soon and maybe the Coconut hideout that has been pointed out on this forum by someone too. So, he'll have a little more entertaining set up than this. He's really into deep substrate and burrowing like a Gerbil.

Ok I finally got around to some pics I'm nowhere near "done" lol please ignore the messy house and that (the white tape was convient to put there no outher reason)

That just shows old and new cages (I use it as a weight to keep the top down)

The rope is hemp something I'm trying to make her not turning out but *may* still be ok

Stuff inside includes
My boardwalk
Salt savor swings and such (haven't seen her use them thought they may be fun)
Ceramic bowls
Waterbottle that's rigged to fit in the cage (nowhere near the right size)
Edible branch
Treat log that she pulled the seeds out of
Litter and egg thing lol

And plenty of clean-n-cozy bedding in there as well

She loves to burrow and climb so I'm trying to get her a few chances for both activities

I do plan on getting some cat grass and that sort in there as well for her and I think I can pull everything off ok --I just hope this works well for now? Lol atleast better then her old cage --she is a Syrian I still think she is small lol

Ah, new thread! This is the setup for our new hamster "Ben" - couldn't stand leaving the cage longer anymore after Carrasco died just before christmas. Completely rearranged everything for the new guy.

CAGE: diy hack from older IKEA "Benno" TV stand (not available new anymore)
SIZE: 118cm x 50cm

left side:

New cage setup von tina_6500 auf Flickr
terrarium soil (Lucky Reptile Desert Bedding), bottle holder from Trixie ceramic bowl + JR Farm grass tube, bowl with shredded cork bedding (you can hide food there that the hamster has to find), climbing root and cork pieces, bendy willow bridges, IKEA "Asker" ceramic kitchen utensil holder as hideout, Hugro birch hideout, candy jar with corn cob bedding (to hide food in).

middle:

New cage setup von tina_6500 auf Flickr
small terracotta pot with cork pieces as digging bowl, IKEA "Mixtur" glass oven dish as sand bath, wine root, more cork, dried terrarium moss

right side:

diy house from poplar plywood, "Frankenstein" wheel, another ceramic hideout, food bowls (IKEA "Glimma" tea light holder).
