Default The best cage for a Chinese?

My Winter White lives in a Mini Duna and my Robos are in a tank converted aquarium, can someone reccomend the best cage for a Chinese hamster please?

I prefer the plastic / bucket type ones as they're really east to clean but I've read (on here somewhere?) that Chinese hammies like to climb a lot so tunnel system cages are best for them?

Ideas please before I hit the shops tomorrow

i've had 2 chinese (separate) and they were identical in their behaviours and likes etc. firstly i had them both in a double level imac with sleeping hut and stash hut on the ground floor with loads of bedding. They love to make burrows and dig. they then had the next level with wheel, food, water, toys etc. and lots of toys. they like jam packed toys as they're so slinky and bendy they weave in and out of them. they also love climbing and enjoyed climbing the bars and any toys they could climb on/through.

they didn't like the loft bedroom. they very much wanted the bed downstairs, like a kind of burrow, so whatever you get, don't get anything with a loft bedroom. both of mine were upset at loft bedrooms and just stuffed the tube with bedding until they couldn't get down. i had to clear it every day

they stopped that behaviour when i moved the bed to a lower level. they're secret and like secret hidey holey type thing. i use bendy bridges to conceal the nest and stash igloo entrances.

my recommended cages would be no. 1)imac with extension level and downstairs bedroom and no.2) savic cambridge with igloo or other house under a low shelf and concealed entrance some how.

feel free to ask more questions if i can answer them i will.

Hi Bunsey thanks for that. When I had robuski hamsters one escaped through the wire bars so I had to keep them in a tank instead.

I keep Sky in 2-storey wire cage, he has his house on the 2nd level. Theo is in a Habitrail Playground for now while he recovers.

Beijing is now in a habitrail but I don't think she likes it very much, the bedding upstairs has been disturbed but I'm not convinced she actually likes the tubes or anything other than ground level?

I think I might just get her a Ferplast Mini Duna like the one I already have my ww in, crammed full of climbing equipment of course

How about a savic mickey max? It has the shelf in for her to hide under, but it's a narrow barred cage so it won't stop her climbing..
