Wink Cheap Zoozone 2 cage/style?

Dad says he would be able to mesh a ZZ2 for me for my birthday or if I did something VERY well. Do there tend to be sales on cages near Christmas?
Are there any websites that sell cheap ZZ2's reliably (not just ebay where you can get the occasional bargain, but somewhere that I can more or less rely on to have it) or other cages in that style?
Thanks,

Oh, and is meshing a ZZ easier or harder than making a bin cage (Dad's question, not mine as I think the answer is fairly obvious)?

And does anyone know a good place where you can buy mesh cut to size (rather than having to pay a huge amount for a massive roll)?

If you have a Jolly's petfood shop nearby they stock them and they're usually around £35. I dont think they do christmas sales though.

Neither the bin cage or zoozone are hard, meshing is probably faster though.

B&Q sell squares of mesh, which is just enough to cover 2 zoozones, so it's not much wastage compaired to a big roll. They also do coloured cable ties if you want to make it colourful.

I did 1 recently and have another waiting to be done so please ask if you've got any q's

I got my mesh from homebase, a square panel was fairly cheap.

Wickes also do those mesh sheets...a LOT cheaper and handily they have 6mm mesh which is much harder to chew. I so wish there was a Wickes nearer to me :'(

And it's easy enough to do. ZZ1's are a little more on the difficult side because of the bent roof and the way they close.

You should be able to get a single panel of mesh from any decent garden centre/ builders yard. It is much easier to mesh the bars of a ZZ2 than it is to make a bin cage, you literally cut the mesh to fit, sand or file it down so it's not sharp where you cut it, and fix it into place with zip ties. With a bin cage you have the rather tricky job of cutting panels of plastic out without cracking the whole thing before you start fixing the mesh on.

If you really want one cheap I would look on ebay, my first ZZ2 cost me £18 and my second £12!! £30 for 2 ZZ2's is not bad at all! All they needed was a good clean up and they were fine.

Maybe they can order them in? Surely they're all supplied by the same place?
