It's nice on both but this is more hamster orientated which makes more sense for me as I only have 1 hamster....but PF is a different atmosphere and I enjoy it too.

Re: Mo's new "wodent wheel"
Amazing.. Do you recommend a wodent wheel? The formidable Cinnamonster is currently using a bog standard rat wheel (she is about 300g!!) and I've been thinking of getting a wheel like the one you have but am not sure how good they are and im reluctant to get one withut knowing if they are good as they are quite expensive..

Re: Mo's new "wodent wheel"
If she's a big hammie then she should have a wheel over 10 inches really so that when there running there back is nice and straight.
This wodent wheel I got is by far the best I've had and my hammie started off with an 8 inch wheel then a 9 inch then 10.5 and now this 11 inch.
The wodent wheel is very quiet. I bought mine second hand off eBay for £9!
But yes they are expensive if bought from new.

Re: Mo's new "wodent wheel"
My syrians have always had wodent wheels. They are expensive but are soooooooo worth the money. They are very quiet and they get up such a speed on them. If I hooked Jerry's wheel up to the electric meter I'm sure he could power my flat! He currently is going through a weird phase of climbing up the back and jamming himself between the wheel and the cage! I have to tempt him out with cucumber! The minis have a Flying Saucer thou, as the WW is too big for them.
I have a spare WW but wouldn't sell it as they are hard to come by. In the past I've made sandpaper inserts to put in the wheel overnight so the Syrians can file their claws as they run. It works brilliantly. You can buy them but they are pricey. I would highly recommend them.

Re: Mo's new "wodent wheel"
Fantastic!! I think I will opt for the 11inch.. Like I said she currently has a massive rat wheel and it's big and clunky Nd not that easy to run in..
Thanks for your help

The wodent wheel also comes in a 12" diameter "extra wide" option if you're concerned about the Cinnamonster on the 11" one
