What is the best cage for a syrian hammy? Just finding out incase I get hammy in the future. I always used to keep my hammy in cages that were sold as hamster cages in pet shops that I think really are to small.

Personally, my favourite cage for syrians is the Gabber rex. I also like the savic hamster heaven, the hagen zoozone and the Savic Cambridge. Rat cages are also quite good as long as the bars aren't too widely spaced.
I'm with Bunsey, I favour the Gabber Rex (although I do have one girl, Aero, who seems determined to chew her way out of hers at the moment).
I also really like the Savic Cambridge and, if you really want big, you could go for the Hamster Heaven or one of the simillar sized rat cages - or a Zoozone 2.

I like the Hamster Heaven! Mainly as Sammy isnt a bad bar chewer and isn't keen on climbing so I'm not worried about him falling! I also like the Gabber Rex.
