Default Plastikote on Karlie Wonderwheel

Has anyone used plastikote on a Karlie Wonderwheel? Is it safe? My new adoptee seems to be a chewer so she might go overboard with the 29cm wheel!

I assume the plastikote is the best thing to use on untreated wooden shelves?

I remember seeing a thread where Womblehands plastikoted Peekio's Wonderland wheel yellow and it worked well Plastikote is completely safe for hamsters otherwise we wouldn't use it And yes, you can also plastikote wooden shelves too

Plasti-kote Peekio

Thanks Charley and cheers for the link. I just wasn't sure that plastikote was 100% safe but I thought I'd read that a few people had used it.
