Default Sleeping quarters

I just wondered what everyone else uses as a bed for there Syrian hamsters?
Mo has got a small rydon little house but i don't think it's quite big enough.
So I bought a savic hamster igloo but she keeps bopping the lid off it's not a tight seal when clicked into place so it's quite easy to knock it off.

She won't use her Sputnik anymore and she has a karlie corner cabin house but because it had no floor to it she dug herself in it and tipped it over!

So what's the best Syrian hamster house?

Thank you
Amy.

Mylo has a wooden house that he loves. He won't sleep anywhere else.

Luna has two built in igloo things (part of the shelves) which she very, very rarely uses. Most of the time she sleeps in an open nest, or in her toilet when it's hot.

I've tried a number of houses, the only thing she slept in for ages was a cardboard box >.<

If you buy a wooden house, ensure that it has an open bottom (ie no bottom to it) which will prevent pee from soaking into the base. I'm not a fan of plastic ones because of the condensation that can build up.

If I were you, I'd take all the houses out that she doesn't use/that are unsuitable, give her a massive handful of bedding (I use shredded toilet roll for nesting material) and let her make her own nest

Hamburglar loves his wooden house, the Pickles cottage one from P@H, though he seems to be growing out of it!? he's a chunkster

I made Badger a cardboard box house, but he decided to rearrange it as soon as he arrived, pouched all his bedding tissue and has now made his nest under his wooden stick bridge haha.

Some sort of coconut shell house? These tend to be quite cheap and they wear their teeth down nicely with minimal damage to the actual house

Yeh the wooden house she has is bottom less but she shoved that much megazorb up against and inside it she tipped it over.

I think I'll give her a load more toilet roll as I use this anyway and let her build an open nest herself.
I did notice earlier that there was a slight condensation build up so I'll throw it out.

Thanks for everyone's replies.
