Default Interesting Home....

I've seen these before (not sure this one is usually over 120 quid though - if so what a bargain ) but can't remember what the brand name is - does anyone know or have a link?

Cheers

The brand name seems to be "Hamster Arena" although they're made by a UK company called PCI Pet Products.

They look like fantastic cages!

As far as I'm aware the bridges are fully adjustable and you can take out the bits you don't want to make room for stuff you do want. I also don't think it'd be that hard to clean (depending on how heavy it is) as it would be a bit like cleaning out a rabbit hutch - as long as your hamsters don't pee on the wooden bits (mine don't pee on the wooden accessories they have in their cages!) they wouldn't need washing that often.

This reminds me of the absolutely superb, huge and very natural looking habitats I've seen from Germany and other continental European countries. If I could find a bargain 80cmx60cm one I'd love to try it and make a big display hamster habitat in my living room!

They sell these cages at my preffered pet shop here, they do look good - but are quite expensive and I would imagine that they are also very heavy!

Oooh Mollz just have a look and see how much the bigger one is for me, would you? £125 is a bit steep (ha, just a bit!) for me but I wonder if they ever go in a sale? I'm going to contact the company and see if anyone round here's got them so I can have a proper look (and try lifting one!).

I was thinking about for a Syrian but imagine how fab that could be if set up right for a little robo colony....

I'll take a look next time I'm in there, Julie.
As far as I know they've only stocked them for the last 2 months, so maybe more shops will be getting them in?

Sorry it took so long, I just haven't had time to get in there.
They only had one in, it was about 50-60cm cubed (I'm rubbish at estimating!) and it was £99. I'm not sure whether that is a good price or not?

Thanks for that Mollz - it sounds like the smaller of the two which is £89.99 plus postage on the website linked above. I'd like the bigger one but not for a hundred and twenty five quid so I'm on the lookout for a bargain one (though not in any hurry as this is a "later" project). I'm also looking at the perfecto tanks as they do an absolutely HUGE leveled one (though I haven't managed to find out how much that sells for as yet ).
