February 2008 Wodent Order!

Having finally sorted all the wheels from the last order I'm now ready to do another - I have had several enquiries and some people are wanting them at Highworth (23rd February) so I'd like to get the order in on Friday 1st Feb and collect payments over the weekend by Monday of next week once I know the exact cost per wheel.

For those who haven't ordered before the wheels come from the US manufacturer and, because we've ordered so many, we get them at a substantially reduced cost - usually around £5.40 including airmail shipping from the USA (if you need them posting to you within the UK then that is extra). This is a lot cheaper than online stores charge and an added bonus is that you can choose your colour - not usually possible from UK shops. Colours can be seen here:

They come in red, green, yellow, dark blue, light blue, lavender and burgundy - all with either black or white sides.

There are also two new colours for the panels instead of black and white - icy blue and hot pink! I don't have a picture of the blue one but here's pink with lavender:



I need to collect payments beforehand and, as I use Paypal to pay the company, it's much easier of you can pay me via Paypal. They seem to be taking slightly longer to arrive - it used to be about 7 days now it's closer to 2 weeks, not sure why.

If you'd like to order please add the wheels and colours you'd like here before this coming weekend. If you've already contacted me could you please add your colour choices to this thread as well. I'll get back to everyone on Monday as soon as I know the final cost per wheel

Can I have 2 light blue with white please?
I would order another for your baby, but want to see how noisy they are first. Has anyone had a comfort wheel and a wodent wheel in a rex before and if so are the wodent wheels quieter? Please don't tell me they're louder How much sound do they make Julie?

I've never had a comfort wheel but wodents are the quietest wheel I've ever had. As long as you keep them clean and well oiled on the spindle they are really, really quiet - in a Rex you can clothes peg them to the shelf to stop them rattling about if you have a fast runner:

Ok, In that case I'll have two light blue with white and one lavender with white please. Although you may have to show me how to attach it like that and clean etc. at highworth, if you don't mind :P
To be honest, I'm not sure anything could be louder than these comfort wheels at the moment.

What a SHAME! I was getting sick and tired of Sammy's Jumbo Roly so went and ordered a Wodent, it wasnt that expensive I suppose! If I need another I'll definately order it from you!

We err, seem to have fallen for an old rescue girl who will be coming to live with us on Saturday..... :P

Though we won't be at the show, so postage it will have to be for me! I can paypal the money to you whenever you need it.

comfort wheels are MUCH louder than wodent wheels, i've had both in a rex

Hanlou and Bunsey - that's fine, I'll order both but will either of you be at Alcester (Warwickshire)? It's just one week after Highworth and I'll be going so I could bring them there.
