Is anyone using a coco cage large for their Syrian, thinking of upgrading Polo, I appreciate it would need a good shelf due to the height, having said that she is a keen climber, still a long way to fall. It is 100cm (at widest part of base lip). Depth: 54cm. Height (top to bottom): 70cm. Here’s a link https://www.littlepetwarehouse.co.uk...roduct-reviews
Not sure how deep the tray is.
If anyone is using it I would love some feedback/photos.
I can’t find it searching the forums

Hi we have a new hamster baby - 8 weeks old, bought yesterday from Animaltastic, a recommended pet shop near me. We had our last hammie from.there, he passed away last November ( RIP Hammond). He dIdn't get very big and was happy in his three storey Ferplast cage. It's only 65 cm side but has 3levels. Our new hammy, Terence, is quite big already - should I be looking for a bigger home? When do male hamsters reach full maturity? Thanks

Hi, I think the Alaska from zooplus is exactly the minimum size recommended for a Syrian hamster if that’s what you have? It will fit a nice big wheel and deep substrate for digging and nesting in.
I think I’m right in saying they are sexually mature from about 4 or 5 weeks, they are in their prime at just under 1

Thanks - I'll compare the size and see if I need to get a new cage.
