Default New Savic wheel on sale

remember the Savic Jumbo Rolly wheels that we've all had problems with - the easy snap spindle, the brittle plastic and completely daft spindle tube on the wheel. Savic have brought out a new wheel and all these problems have been addressed. Its about the same size as the old one, the plastic of the wheel is not brittle, the central attachment makes more sense and the cage clip is made from non brittle plastic and the spindle is in the centre of the attachment not at one end. it is so much better in design and it works well. Asbo has been using it for a week now and nothing has snapped (famous last words).

Full marks to Savic for listening to all our complaints and doing something to rectify them.

It is also slightly cheaper than the old Roly Jumbo and can be found on ebat, sorry ebay ( ebat is where you buy you're next wife from - sorry everyone, couldn't resist - just pretend i'm Jimmy Carr!).

It's called the Savic Jumbo wheel - no Roly in the name now.

Thanks for the info Pouchy.

Just a few Qs, do they still fit on the same stands and how much noise do they make?

Thanks

Don't know about the stands as never used one and noise is not much. The wheel doesn't keep me awake at night if that's any help.

I got one off that seller last week, it was here in 2 days.

Its pretty spacious and seems to be a better build than the old ones, for the price its not bad at all. Only downside is that its a bit clonky but if you don't mind that its a good wheel
