Do you live near an IKEA store? They have lots of affordable shelving units and coffee table type units that may work very for you. They have almost any size and height so something should work.
If not, you may want to check out your local Goodwill just to see what they might have.
Basically, go for what works in your space and is sturdy.

We have a 20gal long tank that is just sitting on a desk at the moment but we are planning on moving it to it's own stand when I find something I like.

Good luck-we love our dwarf guys!

jI have some Ikea Lack coffee tables - they're really sturdy and about 45x45 or 50x50.
they're about £4.99 for the plain white or plain black ones - I think those would be the best option that I can think of

Believe it or not.... my hamster cage is on one of those fold up camping tables! But yes, a set of draws, dresser, coffee table... anything that can hold it's weight is fine!

I have two of my big aquariums on IKEA Malm dressers. They can be purchased at IKEA or any pre-used type sites, like Craigslist/Preloved. Lots of people buy IKEA, so cheap used should be easy to find.
