Re: Transparent Hamster ball?
How about this one at Wilko? It's a 7-inch one. Would it be too big for my Chinese to move?

Re: Transparent Hamster ball?
Hmm I think I would need a smaller one than the 7-inch, as Charlie is pretty small. He also only weighs 30g, so the 7-inch ball would probably weigh more than him lol!

Re: Transparent Hamster ball?
I usually use the clear ones, Gloria loved it so much she wouldn't come out when I tried. she knew the floor plan of the home and what would make loud noise if she crashed into it. She loved slamming into the recycling bin repeatedly I think the clear ball helped her find land marks with her limited vision to find her way around the house, she would even sit in front of the table her cage was on and sit and look upwards when she wanted to get out.
My dwarf hammies dont seem to care for clear or colored. They don't run around in either, just sit there looking bored. Sandy preferred clear

Re: Transparent Hamster ball?
I think a 5" wheel would be good for robos and very small dwarf hamsters. I wouldn't give a 5" to a medium-large dwarf--I think a 7" would be much better.
