wheel recommendations!
Hey! My lovely Syrian Bee is 4 months old now and it is time for a wheel upgrade. She currently has a 6.5 inch silent spinner and although She does not arch her back to run in it (She is a little short arse :P) i would like to get her something a bit bigger and pass her old wheel on to my not so little dwarf. She lives in a Gabber rex so it needs to be a stand alone wheel and of course fit in the cage. Rather than just buy use 8.5 silent spinner i wondered if anybody could recommend any other wheels.

Re: wheel recommendations!
i expect she will love it She really is a tiny little thing the 8 week old hams in pet shops are bigger than she is! My dwarf will no doubt love her upgrade too even if it is second hand! Thank you i will look into those wheels now.

Re: wheel recommendations!
Mine have 12 inch silent spinners which are massive but give them lots of room to run or just sit on it and have a wash. I chose these ones because two of my hamsters are longhaired males with full skirts and this was the only wheel I could find which didn't have slots or a spinning central bar that might tangle in the fur, and it is easily wide enough that nothing overhangs outside the wheel as they run either - they both use their wheels for hours every night with no problems and seem to love them.

Re: wheel recommendations!
I use wodent wheels and LOVE them. Even my mouse and dwarf hamsters can use them though I got them for my syrian hamster and her two babies I kept. I would get the 8 inch mine was a bigger girl but she fit well. It really depends where you are i now singapore has a silent spinner look a like
But since you are using inches I assume the US so I would just go with the wodent wheel.

Re: wheel recommendations!
There's a 8.5" Silent Spinner? I thought they only came in 4.5", 6.5", and 12"? An 8.5" one would definitely be handy!
For a Syrian I'd go with a Senior Wodent wheel or a 29cm Karlie Wonderland wheel, but I have a feeling neither of those will fit in a Gabber.

I don't believe there is an 8.5" silent spinner, trust me I've been trying to locate a better wheel for Saffron, and I would LOVE for her to have a SS, but the 12" is just WAY to big. If there is...oh gosh I'll have it tomorrow
