Default Cheapish cages etc for rodents

Check this out and see what you think. In many cases they are as cheap or cheaper than ebay:

That is very impressive cost wise and they don't rip you off postage-wise either!

Thanks for the link Pouchy, I haven't come across them before. I think they may well be getting an order off me before long.

Ooo, I've found just what I was looking for a few pounds cheaper.

I don't understand the postcode part of the postage though - are those the letters at the beginning of postcodes in the drop down box? Mine isn't there which means I'd get charged 10 pounds shipping, which also means it's not worth me getting it from there if I'm getting charged more postage.

What's a drop ship account?? It would make more sense if they just did it by weight in the first place :S

Yeah! I completely agree with you! The Ferplast Rainbow is a really good cage...its made really well and wont ever fall apart and my syrian loves it! Hey? Is there a ferplast galaxy? I've seen people talk about it and I've researched it and it looks exactly like the Rainbow but with a plastic top! If you know it then tell me because it might be a good one for Dwarf's...

I have a ferplast galaxy second hand off ebay for a tenner. New they cost about £60 and Ferplast don't make them anymore as their site doen't have any so far as I know? Must be quite old as the level inside is all barred which is bad for furry feet. Had to cut some stiff plastic to fit, the wheel isn't big enough for Syrian hamsters and it came with a whole lot of plastic tat that just looked stupid, since sold on. However it is large and the plastic tied on to the barred platform doubles up the floor area nicely. The rainbow bridge effort has been removed and straightened, sawn in half to create a support for larger wheel. Oh yes, and the water bottle is too close to the platform if the hole provided is used so with substrate on the platform the water may leah everywhere if you aren't careful. It's a doddle to clean and the zebra mouse just loves running around in it.

Would be suitable for dwarves but you'd need to take out the platform or do what I did. There's plenty of space.
