That price is brilliant, normally you don't see it below £35 including postage.
It all depends on how much time you can dedicate to what hamster you get. Obviously if you got a syrian that would be very straight forward, but if you wanted to keep a pair of dwarfs then you would need to research them, and try and keep them together i.e. always handle them together, keep half of the old substrate and bedding on each clean out to keep some of their scent in the cage, always put them in the same exercise ball etc. If they fought you would need to split them up and that would mean another cage.
Dwarf species vary, Campbells and Winter Whites are easiest to keep but Campbells do tend to do better in pairs as many people find they have to split Winter Whites. Robos are the likeliest of all to stay together but are very small and quick and aren't recommended for a novice dwarf keeper. Chinese are sold as being sociable but many people find that once they mature they fight and will most definately have to be split up but of course there are exceptions to every rule.
Also with pet shop dwarfs they are regularly missexed so you might end up with babies.
I would recommend finding a breeder or getting from a rescue in any circumstance.
