I have used it for some time now and I really like it. It is the only thing I have found which doesn't tangle in the long-haired males coats.
It is also the most economical bedding I have found which is a consideration if you have 11 hamsters like me.

How long does it last? I mean, how long does a bale last you?

I've cleaned charlies zz2 out (which isn't small) and gunna clean out the dwarfies in a bit and not much is gone so hoping it will last a while (mainly because the journey there wasn't too fun )

I use it too - and love it. Like Basia, I think it's great for LH hamsters to minimise tangling and it's really soft when you shove a pile of it in the cage. It's the most economical bedding for lots of hamsters I can find (apart from Megazorb which is too smelly for me).

One bale lasts me a month - but that's for lots of hamsters and my piggies - it should last you a lot longer, Jane

Holly, do you buy it in Leicester or on-line?? I bought a small bag of Carefresh as I was in a rush and its all I could get hold off.... but I cant see it lasting me long.

I buy it from Cook's Farm Shop near Markfield, I'm not sure if there's anywhere else round here that sells it.

You can e-mail aubiose direct and they will send you the address of their nearest stockist. There is one in Penistone which is not that far from Mapplewell show and Sue Kilburn uses it so I guess there is one in Barnsley even closer.

I've emailed them thanks Lynne, as the posting for the Aubiose when buying online seemed to be almost as much as the product!

The way things are going I think I will end up moving to another part of the country for the sake of my hamsters health and happiness (although I am training our local pet shops slowly)
