You can buy that little house thing on top now on ebay:

Wonder if you can get the shelf and tubes separately as well? Wonder if it would be a cheaper way of getting the Hamster Heaven cage?

Edit - another thought! How much is the RRP/P@H price for the Ruffy? Am thinking that there may soon be internet sites with the Hamster Heaven cage for a lot less than eightly quid

I hope with all the consideration that seems to have gone into this cage that they remembered to make the tubes big enough for a Syrian. If so, it would be great if you could get them seperately and use them with a Ruffy or similar, if you could get one cheaper.
Ferplast shelves are very similar to the Savic ones like the one in the Hamster Heaven and are more easily available online. Tbh I think if you got a Ruffy and then the accessories seperately, it would cost about as much as Pets at Home are asking for this new cage, I guess it just depends on whether you like all the tubes and stuff.

Looking at the horizontal bars on the end of the cage there is a longer length between the last one and the top of the heaven compared to the ruffy so maybe it is taller. I would prefer the lower one personally, I thought the heaven was a bit tall. I couldn't see the tubes and funky little house on the one in P@H because it was on a high shelf and they probably hand't been assembled so the bits were inside the cage, had to stand on tip-toe to see it at all.
The tubes in the picture look the same as on the savic laura. Depends how much cheaper the ruffy is, you could possibly get a better cage than the heaven for less money.

The tubes look the same as those in other Savic cages to be honest - big enough for your average pet shop hamster but a tight squeeze for a larger breeder-type hamster. My friend's daughter has a Savic cage with tubes and their hamster seems to love them - he's fairly small though.

I see you get a ladder with the little house being sold on ebay - what I think I'd be interested in doing is having the main cage (like the Ruffy) with two of the corner shelves from the Hamster Heaven with a ladder going up to the little house (although I do have my doubts whether any of ours would sleep up there - they all prefer to sleep at ground level).

You can easily order Savic Cambridge shelves from P@H so I think the HH ones will become available as well.

I saw it yesterday and it is huge. It looks like a rabbit indoor cage and the base is nice and deep so you could have a really deep bedding layer. The tube goes up to the top pod but the front of this is actually and barred door to open to get the hammy out. A very good spacious cage with a Jumbo rolly on a stand but for us too many bars as we are not fans of barred cages ourselves but if you have a non chewer this would be great. The drawback is the price.

Wow - if the whole front opens then I guess it makes it an excellent taming cage for the nervous new hamster - it will be like our indoor GP cage, very easy to get at them. And a Jumbo Roly as well - I'm even more impressed and I think that REALLY shows they have been listening to what hamster owners in the know really want.

Yes I think it is a great size too, but again those bars! Mine would chew themselves silly! The other thing for me personally too is that the Gabber fits perfectly on my shelving system with a cm or two to spare either side - this would just not do - so along with a £70 cage I would also have to buy new shelving for all of mine!
A good cage but I still thank my lucky stars each day that Souffle Pophammy & co put me onto the Gabbers

This is a good buy for anyone looking for an extra large cage.
