I made a bin cage tutorial on instructables.com because I was hoping that if more people see how easy it is to make them, fewer people will cram their animals into teeny tiny cages!

That is an excellent tutorial wand of willow

Well explained and illustrated, I'm sure it will help many people.
I'm going to sticky it.
One small addition I would suggest is to file the edges of the wire smooth before screwing it in place just in case anyone has a hamster that gets on top of something and climbs up to the roof. You can also bind them with duct tape.

oh, that is a good idea. I clipped the edges off but I didn't worry about it because of the height of my bins and how small all of the toys are. But I know if someone adds levels that could be a problem

Both links work for me (I'm in the UK). I had a look a few days ago, it was working then too. Maybe their server had some downtime?
