In your mini duna's what do you use for water? Its all plastic around the sides with the top doors being made of cage I think. So do you guys just put a bowl of water in?

No. Anyone who owns one can tell you that theres a hole in the plastic for the bottle. A bottle even comes with the cage.

In my experience, the bottle that comes with the cage is rubbish but yes, there's a hole, and a bottle, and a holder thing that sticks to the cage with suckers.

I think some of them come with the rubbish sippy bottles but mine came with a standard one that was really good I actually dont use the hole at the minute though, I took the wheel out and used the thing that comes with bottle to attach them to bars and attached it to the wheel stand

I had a mini Duna for a couple of years and found it to be a very sturdy and lovely little cage (I recently upgraded all my hams cages and although I know the mini Duna is right at the bottom end of being "acceptable and suitable" for 1 dwarf ) but I am so glad I got bigger cages for them so thanks to HC for making me aware of other cages
I had the normal bottle with the suckers and never found it to be a problem.xx

A word of warning if you upgrade from the Mini Duna to the Duna Fun Large, please note that the hole on the Large for the water bottle is on the opposite side to the tube which comes out, and so depending on where you put it (and how much room you have!) you might have to use a water bowl!! That's what I found!

I had to put the side with the tube on the outside which left the water bottle hole against the wall, so I couldn't use it... Now using a Ferplast Mary though so no problems!

Erin I haven't been around lately but I have two mini dunas for my robo boys. They are sturdy cages, and I use the shelf in each. I have replaced the wheels and changed the water bottles to mice drinking bottles. I would like to get bigger cages but I only have the room for these. Bubbles and lucky seem ok with these cages, as they have a wheel each and toys, and I have piled up the carefresh under the shelf so they can furrow and dig.
