Poppy & Hamlet have open nests but that was their own doing Horace sleeps in either his little Ferplast house or in his snuggle pouch. Hugo sleeps under his Karlie Wonderland house & Huxley in his Ferplast house.

I don't worry about them getting draughts or overheated. I've noticed when Huxley does get warm he just sleeps in the open on his shelfs.

LOL @ Pickle that picture is just so funny!

I'm a fan of open nests now, Cookie has a house in her cage but decided about a month ago that sleeping under the wheel was what she wanted to do. She gets herself ever so snug there with her megazorb and safebed.

Harley always has slept in an open nest due to sleeping in one in P@H. Ive tried housing with him but he's never seemed interested. I just bung a good amount of bedding in their for him and the next morning he has his nest built. Sometimes he has it in the corner another time under his wheel. He looks quiet cosy as well
Munchkin on the other hand loves to sleep in a large tunnel I brought for her. Its the ones that are stripped in colour and sometimes come with that horrible bedding? Well I put it in there for her and she now blocks on end with bedding and makes a nest inside. Its very cute actually ^_^

I am loving that picture of Pickle all tucked up in that little box. I cannot get enough cuteness from hammies ♥

Hehe I had a similar time with my old Syrian. She had Savic house which she always slept in, but someone bought her a new yellow house and so I put it in with bedding in it for her... She emptied it in 2mins flat and took all her bedding back to 'her' empty house.

I thought she wouldn't use the new house, but she decided to use it as a secondary storehouse. She would store only peanuts & dog bics in it. All other food went in her bed with her!

I love their funny little endearing ways!

Talking of open nests, here's Cookies latest work...

Poor love must've worn herself out, I know she's in there because a little head emerged this morning . Bless her heart, she usually only does a small one!
