If you could post a photo of his cage or just his wheel, we could probably identify what type it is. Savic Rolly wheels in particular are devils for being loud without some lubricant on the spindle (and they're not all that durable generally).

hi guys i would give you the update I have now put vegtable oil on the wheel and it works like a treat no more squeaky wheel. Yay
