The flying saucer is quite big, but i think it might be better for dwarfs etc. Millie runs at an angle on it. I only got it because its silent

Is it the 12inch one (which is massive) or a smaller one?
Luna has one and doesnt run at an angle - I bought the 12inch one, it sounds like you've got the smaller one.

(Psst... StarlightSerenity meant the flying saucer, not the Wodent wheel. )

Re: Wheels
I found these wheels recently and going to order two:
S.A.M. Cage Workout Wheel is a Great Exercise Toy for Hamsters & Gerbils
They are about 5.5" in diameter and hopefully more suitable for my young dwarves while they are still small. I worry about them falling out the the silent spinners all the time, so hopefully these will do better. I'll post once I get them and put them to the test.

Re: Wheels
For dwarf hamster owners:
As an update for these wheels: they arrived today. What looks like off-white marble plastic is actually medium silver translucent plastic with silver glitter in it.
They are definitely noiser than Silent Spinners, but not too bad. I'm fairly happy with them as temporary wheels until my dwarf hams grow up. They fall out of the 6.5" Silent Spinners a lot, landing on the plastic edges at least a dozen times an hour. This wheel is 5.5" and does not spin as fast as the SS's, making it safer for now.
