Its too small for a Syrian.

For £17 more on the same site you can get the Ferplast Criceti 15 which is suitable - http://www.petplanet.co.uk/product.a...id=50207&co=fr

I dont like that very much... I think its a little bit too small and I personally dont like cages with lots of tubes like that!
Some good cages for syrians are Savic ruffy 2, hamster heaven, zoozone 2 (meshed) and Criceti 15

I'd just return it when you get it That saves spending money on two cages.

Agreed, they should be able to give you a full refund for an unused cage.

58cm x 38cm . . it is a bit small really, and those tubes are going to be a nightmare to clean! You should be able to get a refund if you do decide to send it back.

Have a look at our review pages, there are some excellent cages on there - the imac fantasy is a good cage, still clourful, and not boring! has a few tubes and also can be extended as your hamster grows.

I persoanlly like tank style cages, like the zoozone1 or zoozone 2 - these are actually guniea pig cages but with a bit of mesh on the lid they make fab hammy homes!
