What a great idea We were having the same problems with Goose. My hubby had some heavy duty velcro and it works really well This is such a good website as you learn new things everyday to help care for hammys

Re: Anyone have any experience with using velcro to attach the bottle?
i have that exact bottle and i velcroed it to the inside of the cage using heavy duty velcro my partner got from work, i also cut an extra bit and put it around the bottle sticking to more velcro to give it extra strength

I actually ended up getting the "hamster" size bottle rather than the "mouse" size by accident, so fitting it in to the cage is slightly awkward. Think I might get the small ones soon.
