Imac Fantasy - what are the green plugs for!?

This has always bugged me. What on earth are the green plugs for in the floors of the imac fantasy? When unplugged it leaves a massive great big hole. Is there something you can put here instead? It does seem rather random....

No the plugs are in the floor, and they unscrew.
I was wondering whether I could unscrew one and maybe hang a hammoch through it or something?

They are apparantly for wider tubes that were never sold in the UK.

well thats pretty pointless. Lol

Any possible uses for this hole? Was thinking maybe a hammock OR I saw this great thread where the girl found the perfect sized bowl and wedged it in the floor to make a sand bath.
