zooplus's chinchilla sand?
I bought 15kg of the chinchilla sand off of zooplus, but it seems very fine grain..it doesn't seem dusty, but I wanted to check it's not dust? but marketed as sand?
Has anybody else used it? or can help me know what to look for in dust? >.<
thanks

Re: zooplus's chinchilla sand?
hmm, it does seem to be sand since it's not powdery, but very soft/fine grained >.<

Some of the sand is fine grained but I've never had a problem with it.
Ah, did you lose much sand from the burst bag?

Thankfully no, it just is a bit annoying, decanted it into a roses tin >.<
And thanks I'm just over protective of my hamsters >.< I'll refill/un-bury their sand baths tonight ^.^ thanks for the reassurance

Re: zooplus's chinchilla sand?
I don't see why they put things like sand and cement in such thin bags It's good that you didn't lose any though.
Don't worry, I'm the same Hope they all enjoy their sand baths!

I use the chinchilla sand. It is kind of finr, but Noodles seems to like it. I had that crappy dust stuff once, used it once, and never again. Noodles didn't stop sneezing!

Re: zooplus's chinchilla sand?
I've got a bag of play sand I'm putting in to burrow in, but as they're dwarves they like to have sand baths in chinchilla sand
