Default My Cage Setups!

Been meaning to do this for ages and finally gotten around to it, so without further ado...here are mine and my family's hammy cages

These are Luna's (top) and Velvet's (bottom) cages. Luna belongs to my sister, and Velvet to my mum. They are Syrians from the Spradow litter, and are 7 months old. Luna's cage is one that I used to use for Skittles, I don't know the name of it, but it has 2 levels and is very roomy. Luna also has a Wodent Wheel as she's the only one that doesn't try and eat them out of my lot! Velvet is in a Peggy, which is big enough for her at her current size and age.

This is Shadow's cage. She is a long haired Syrian (unsure of colouring, I always forget!) She is the largest hamster I own and is the mother of the Spradows. I have had her for a year this month, and she is beautiful, she truly is . This cage wouldn't normally be suitable for most hammies, but because she is large it suits her perfectly! She doesn't have a wheel in her cage, but that's because I see the cage as a sort of climbing area for her, so I let her go on her wheel for half an hour a night (as she tries to break them if left in her cage!)

This is Skittles' cage. I have had her for a year and 3 months, and she is a beauty. Her cage is a Ferplast Rainbow, that I got at a car boot sale. It came with 2 levels and a rainbow bridge, but these were partially damaged so I just removed one of the levels and the bridge. She manages fine and has a Savic Rolly wheel

This is Sprout's cage. I have had it for years, so I do not know the name. It, like the Ferplast Rainbow had 2 levels and a bridge as well but over time these came loose and Sprout kept slipping so I removed these. He doesn't have a wheel in his cage as he is not interested and gets tired after a few minutes within the wheel due to his age. I do give him ball time if he wants it though.

This is a shelf full of hamster rubbish, it used to be the shelf that Skittles was on until I moved her today. All this stuff is here until I find storage space for it, so this shelf will be free. Another hamster perhaps? I think my mum may kill me

Anyway hope you enjoyed this, sorry I waffled on a bit, just have a lot to say about ze hams!

Aww these are lovely homes for hammies, loving the hamster bits and bobs shelf, I seem to be accumulating lots of hamster things already, and spending too much. XxX
