Default Cage Add on Ideas Needed

I've bought my new Syrian, Luna, a Hamster Heaven and I'd like to add a small cage to it that will just have a house and nesting material in it, sort of like a large bed area (there will of course be a water bottle in it) or whatever she ends up using it for.

I was thinking of getting the Savic Spelos but after looking into it it seems like a pretty damned awful cage.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what cage I could add onto the HH for this purpose?

I dont want to create a bin cage as I dont have the tools needed to do it and my OH would get mad with me making loads of noise lol.

I havent got much cash left over from everything else I've bought her so cheaper ones are all I can afford.

isn't the hamster heaven REALLY large? i'm sure she'd be ok without an added cage especially if you're strapped for cash right now

Its 80x50x50, so yeah its big. I've got £20 left in my "Hamster start-up" budget though LOL. Maybe more toys are in order instead of taking over the spare bedroom with cages for one baby syrian LOL

Do you have a suitable wheel yet? For a syrian they can come to like£20,
I'm not sure if the HH one is suitable..and since you're getting from a breeder, you'll likely have a large hammy

I'd keep the money aside, you'd be suprised how easily you can spend money on these little guys, since I got my hamsters in november, I've spent about...£500? probably?
I've spent over £125 since christmas alone.. so yeah.
I admittedly do spoil mine..and after this spending, I will be set for them for a while, but it's amazing how these things stack up, plus I have dwarves...stuff for them is usually cheaper, and they don't have many toys.

I'd save that £20, get to know your hamster, and then you'll learn what type of toys they'll really appreciate..
Can always add on later,
as I mentioned the ferplast tubes do attach to the savic ones, so you could replace the penthouse at the top with something like the combi one, one day

but yeah Hope all goes weelll
