I know a few people on here use Ferplast tubes to connect their cages so I thought I should mention the slightly annoying thing I have just discovered. Before I put Fudge in the ZZ2 I attached a connector so that at a later point I could expand if I so wished. The time has come and so I chose a Ferplast Duna Fun as Fudge likes climbing up on things so I thought she might enjoy a couple of levels and already having tubing I thought it would be easy to connect. Seeing the Ferplast T-Junction my plan was to simply switch out the 90 degree curve on the right hand side and replace it with a T-Junction. Presto chango an extra hole to attach the zoozone to right? Wrong! This is what I soon discovered:
The T-Junction is just a fraction longer than the 90degree curve! This means anyone wanting to replace one with a T-Junction is in for a shock. For those wondering it is also longer than the short tube and shorter than the long tube so you can't easily switch out either of those also.
Here is my convoluted work-around:
There were more convoluted workarounds before that with ridiculously complex twists and turns, I was so annoyed!
Anyway I though I would just mention this so no one falls into the trap of thinking Ferplast may have been in any way logical with their sizing...
