Default Wheel Stand

On the German forum nearly all of their cages have a wheel stand or the longer ones are called a hamster track.

So as ive said before i'm trying to make my cages with the German standards. im nearly there, Rum & Raisin both have 8" Wodent Wheels and Stella & Smokey both have 11" wheels. And most of my toys are now wooden, bar a few.

Anyway i just wanted to show you my Wheel stand (for Stella, but im making another for Smokey)
And these will be going in the hopefully new homemade cages (still not gonna say what its made out of just yet)
Oh and i need to add legs to it so its raised above the floor of the cage.

That looks great, Stella will love it, I'm sure! The little fence is cute, we NEED pics of her using it once you're done

I might have to copy it
I'm sure she'll love it, and you must get photos of their cages once they're done..I'm sure they'll be great

Wow that's so good. So what are these wheel stands for? is it to stop the wheel moving and rattling? XxX

I think I've figured out your cage plans, Mark. The hints seem to add up (I feel like a detective atm) haha.

It looks great; as the others said, you're very talented.

For me its to give them more space (because they can go under) and to stop it rattling. But im not too sure why the idea came about!

Snickers, your a good detective
