Yes, do it yourself, or in my case get your husband to do it!! Matt made me a wonderful indoor aviary for my budgies so I would hope he would be able to manage a hamster cage, maybe I should put him to the test?!

I've been looking at some of the homes - it's wrong to call them 'cages'! - on the German website and ......... I WANT ONE!!!!! There are some absolutely wonderful homes there, what lucky hamsters!

Yes, some homes there are incredible big, the largest I've seen is 2,40 meters long

I wish I would have enough space for another selfmade hamster home. I want to have a chinese hamster. I'm thinking about the Maxi Duna for rabbits. But in germany everyone says that the airation is very bad in there. On this board i saw a few people who have this cage, I'll ask them XD

Thanks for linking me on here Nappo. Your cage is absolutely stunning! Debbie is right - they're too beautiful to be called cages. I'm going to look through the German forum too!
