Default Can you belive a hamster lives in this cage?

There is a hamster alive and living in this cage, you can see him in the bottom right corner.
Its for sale on one of the pet websites. I am hoping to just get the hamster and put him in a better cage.

Poor thing. The cage is tiny, he has no wheel and lives on fluffy bedding! I see no food/water either. Would be nice if you could rescue the little guy.

I know i hope i can. I think the water bottle is in the yellow tube but it looks hard to reach though. Ive been told no more hamsters by the other half, but i have a spare cage and I couldn't leave him like this. Chances are whoever bought him would keep him in that tiny box. I think he will agree with me, even if we just get him and rehome in to a better owner.

thats a sam palace with no extensions. the water bottle is the blue square on the left on the outside of the cage (i know i have a bigger sam cage with the same water bottle attatched). the sam palace is meant to be a small extension to a main cage not the main cage this is the original cage (http://www.thebirdhousepetshop.com/c...ges/SAM301.jpg very tiny, i know..i got one used (for free) it was so tiny i ended up tossing it though and just keeping the tubes for extensions onto my other cages.

it does look like they used another bottle to cap off that larger tube, though...and impossible for a hammie to reach. whoever decided that was a proper home for a hamster was out of their minds, i hope you cansave the poor little guy and he doesn't even have any kind of ..bedding really on the wire cage bottom...just that fluffy stuff..sheesh

The person that is selling him is called "liverpool" so i thought that the hamster was in liverpool. I would of been able to get the train or bus and pick him up, as I dont drive. However they are in Runcorn and i'm in Ellesmere Port.

I know that this is a bit of a long shot but does anyone on here travel between Runcorn and Ellesmere Port or even Chester? (I could meet you there). If so please let me know, I would of course give you some money for petrol and your time.

I just feel so sorry for this little guy and want to give him a good home.

Kat
