Should I?
Sorry, i didnt know where to put this... hope its in the place!
I am stuck on weather to stick to Megazorb or to switch back to wood shavings.
I can finish a bag of megazorb in about 2/3 clean outs... which is quite costly... and i like to give them a decent amount of it too
My my local farm shop are selling massive bales of wood shavings, they are about twice the size of megazorb an its compressed! for £7
Should i? help! (i am so pathetic

Re: Should I?
Yes I think you should. Woodshavings are perfectly fine and suit most hamsters very well

Re: Should I?
as your numbers increase, its quite likely you'll find it harder to keep ordering online if your getting through it quickly!
So i think its a good descion to make it easier and cheaper for you

Re: Should I?
it might be worth it in the long run.
maybe when you finish your megazorb, go back to shavings and see how you feel

Re: Should I?
If its cheaper I say go for it, its just as good as megazorb its just that for those of us that can drive to get it, it works out cheaper, so its worht doing

Re: Should I?
i agree with others if its cheaper etc and just as safe i dont see the harm. i find megazorb strange to look at and feel i think i prefer wood shavings personally so i have contemplated a change back too.

Re: Should I?
If it's cheaper and more convenient for you to have wood shavings I'd say go for it. The main reason go for megazorb is that I can drive to get it so it's cheap and lasts longer for me. I do miss the wood shavingy smell of the hammies when I sniff their fur, though

Re: Should I?
I have been toying with the idea of carefresh for a while but decided to continue with wood shavings, mainly due to the cost and ease of getting hold of it

Re: Should I?
Only reason i use megazorb is cause i don't like the feel of wood shavings and i get megazorb locally for £6 a bag!
I am experimenting with different things for porridge though as hes getting his fur in a right state.
He woke up today like the megazorb monster
Managed to get a bag of ecobale shredded carboard for £3 so lets hope that helps his bad hair days x
