Try a ZZ2 with toys and hiding places. I tried it with Aizen though and he just did not wanna know. Ended up with a small cage which he loves. (Strange little thing)

I asked Vectis hams (chinese breeder) and she said the ZZ2 would be fine, which is a relief
Thankyou for all your help, i'm sure i'll have other conundrums in the near future x

Glad that you seem to have got this sorted mel, the 2 step trixie guniea pig shelter is fab and fits nicely in the zz2. It takes up about a quarter of the cage but will give a nice sheltered area fro your new hammy to hide.

Good luick with your new addition!! Hope that your mum says yes!

Jesper house shelf things are good - i think the hamster size one stacked ontop of the guienapig/rat size one looks really cool btw

Beans are being spilled
Mum said yes to a new hammy!!!!

Soooo... i have a lovely chinese boy reserved from vectishams
I won't be able to pick him up until kingswinford show in November, but its worth the wait.
For those of you who know Rachel on MAH, she had a litter called the fugines a few months ago. One little baby was very squeaky and had be nicknamed mr.squeaks.
Wel i fell in love but wasn't aloud him at the time. But hes still availible so thats my reserved baby.
His father was a bit of a legend in the chinese world, fugative, He escaped in the car and was on the run for over a month (hence his name)
Unfortunately he died not long after his sons and daughters in the fugine and fubie litters were born.
it'll be wonderful to have one of his sons who hopefully i can show and do fugative proud
