Default Perfecto Glass Tanks (water bottle hanging problem)

I recently won a small Perfecto glass tank off eBay (it only has the one internal triangled shelf).

Hanging a bottle hanger over the side of these tanks is impossible, because the sliding lid fits into a plastic `frame` that is fitted onto the top rim.

So I was thinking, I could superglue a small metal or plastic device inside the tank that a bottle holder could be attached to, but hav`nt came up with what to actually use to do this?

I thought something L shaped, with flat back parts that could glue onto the glass, leaving a bit sticking out to hold the hanger? I`m still unsure of what to use, but please pass on any ideas you may have?

This tank is only small 20 x 10 x 13 inches high, so would probably only be large enough for a single Roborovski! Or I could just use it as a spare tank in an emergency situation.

Ideas welcomed!

Scotch make stuff called Reclosable Fasteners which is like velcro. It has a strong adhesive on it which can hold 1lb per inch. I am sure you could fix this on the glass then some on the bottle and attach it with that. With it being velcro the bottle is easy to take out and in. We got it in Staples! The sippy bottles have strong suckers which can be quite effective too.

Thanks souffle for that idea! I`ve heard people say they use velcro to hang bottles, but I suppose I was looking for something a bit tidier looking! A permenant metal or plastic device that I could slip the metal hook of a bottle hanger through. I take the velcro idea on board though and if this is the only solution to me, then I`ll go for that.

I`ve also taken out the small wire ladders and replaced these with a long critter-trail tube that runs down from the shelf to the floor, as I feel robos might prefer this tunnel system of getting to the level above, rather than trying to climb ladders. I feel they are not great ladder climbers!

I`m only using this tank for perhaps a single robo rescue that might become available at some time. I normally use larger glass aquariums and/or Duna plastic style housing. But I won this tank for £10.50p so it was a bargain!
