Zoozone meshing
Ive deicided on buying a Zoozone for one of my hammies and i have read that you need to mesh the wire lid as the gaps are to big!
What type of mesh did you use to do this and how did you attach it to the lid?
Cheers

Re: Zoozone meshing
I use 1cm square mesh, and attach using cable ties. Though when I ran out of those I did use the little twist ties for sandwich bags :P

Re: Zoozone meshing
I have the zoozone 2 so it has a flat lid which is a bit easier. I used playpen pannels to do mine as Phoebe likes to monkey bar and some of the mesh I found seemed a bit sharp. I did the same though just sawed the pannels to size with a little hacksaw and cable tied them on - no escapes so far!

Re: Zoozone meshing
This stuff Mesh Panel - Wire Fencing - Gates & Metal Fencing -Gardens - Wickes is amazing (and very cheap), it comes in managable sheets and can be but with scissors so it isnt a full on diy job, I get my cable ties from Asda. Ive done a few complete cages for the mice as well as some zoozones for the hamsters.
