Hehe i just want to go to see all the wonderful colour varieties, other members and the general atmosphere!

Money is reallly tight atm, I will ahve to see how i am closer the time about joining, its on my list but rent/bills/food taking priority atm lol

In the novice section do they still judge against teh standard? I really dont think any of mine would be good enough. Like bear is black but he has a white belly stripe and cream undertones so waaay off the standard!

Bless him

Are you at this one souffle?

x

In the pets class at Midland shows everyone normally gets a place card, there's 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Reserve, Very Highly Commended, Highly Commended and then Commended In the "proper" show, Novice cards are also given out for all those places, but other classes are 1st-Reserve.

Novice is a "duplicate", so you enter your hamster in the "straight" class that applies, and it is judged to the standard along with all the other hamsters. The Judges then go around and look at the duplicates, and they are placed in those too.
