Is anyone from HC thinking of going?
I am wondering if Maestro will be ready for the pet class, so thinking about it.

Re: Andover (SHC) Show - 9th June 2018
I had a lovely time at the Andover show. Met Fluffagrams and Ghostsin Snow.
Fluffagrams kindly made time to introduce me to all of the Metallica show team that were there. A chinesey cling is even more cute in real life! Also although I know Chinese hamsters are smaller, I had not realised how small they can be and extraordinarily appealing.
I took Maestro for the pet class, but learnt that his parents, two brothers and one grandparent were all in the main show. All either won or were placed in their classes. Their breeder won BIS with the most beautiful girl.
One steward saw me trying to take a photo of a brother so kindly lowered the front of his show pen for a better view. (See below)
See Maestro 's thread for his result!

Re: Andover (SHC) Show - 9th June 2018
It was an absolute pleasure meeting you Coco and I'm glad you had a lovely day.
Team Metallica had a productive day at the show today. I was busy Pen Stewarding for the Dwarf Section and had a lovely day working with GhostsinSnow and the judge.
The Show Team managed to bring home a couple of prizes...
Matthew C. Nobria, Viscount Metallica
3rd Normal Chinese
3rd Small Hamstery
Kwo’s Junco Vulcani at Metallica
Not Placed
Vectis’s Cora Josephine at Metallica
Not Placed
Captain Jack S. Cormes of Metallica
1st Normal Chinese
1st Small Hamstery
Lilliput’s Charlotte-May at Metallica
4th Normal Chinese
4th Young Stock
I think that Show Team Lead, Matthew C. Nobria is probably starting to slip past his peak and his place on the show team will be reviewed before our next show. He's 20 months old now so it's to be expected. Regardless of what his future holds, Matthew has done Team Metallica proud winning 2x Reserve Best In Shows, 1x Best In Show and 2x COMs in his time on the show team.
Captain Jack S. Cormes will take on the Show Team Lead role upon Matthew’s retirement.
I was particularly pleased with how well little Charlotte did today. As she is only just eight weeks old, I wasn’t planning to enter her but when the Show Secretary asked if people could rustle up a few more entrants, I thought I may as well put her in. To win 4th in her class at just eight weeks is a wonderful achievement and she was deemed to be ‘Young With Potential’

I have been hoping to find out how team Metallica did Fluffagrams. Very well done to them all. Captain Jack well deserved his wins. Charlotte was so cute and glad her judge thought she had potential. Glad to meet all of them and particularly Matthew if he is near retirement. He has done you proud over his show career.
