Dawlish Show (SHC) - 19th March 2016

I've just got back from Dawlish and it was a great day.

I was Book Stewarding today which was a worthwhile experience. It's nice to get the opportunity to work with different judges and I've learnt so much in the two shows that I've had the privilege of stawarding for.

Meanwhile James was doing me proud...



He came 2nd in Normal Chinese, 1st in Intermediate and 1st in Small Hamstery which I am super pleased with.

Well done, Fluffagrams and James Stewarding is such a great way of learning and getting to know people who are often busy with jobs and don't have time to chat.

I was show secretary so spent the day wrangling paperwork while my little ones also did me proud. Arreton has done well since I got him in January and today was awarded his 3rd COM making him a Champion. Lucci pipped him to the top spot though and won her 2nd COM. I'd feared she might have peaked show-wise so I'm thrilled and daring to hope she might one day become the first UK BEW Chinese Champion (though that 3rd COM can be very elusive).

Well done on your hamsters results Primbi, it looked like quite a big entry for the pets and I'm so glad you found a lovely hamster on the sales table too.

Well done also to Vectis for doing such a great job of show sec (and to Rogue for helping) and for the results that your crew brought home. A special well done to Lucci and Arreton though for their fantastic results.
