Re: Dawlish Show - 12th April 2014
Oh, I was meaning to ask something (not sure if it's better as a PM...).
My colleague has some old Syrian show pens from when he was showing and judging. He has been out of the fancy for some years now so the pens are quite old, but he just has them at his house cluttering up the place. I told him I was going to this show and he wondered whether, if I brought them with me, anyone there would have any use for them??

Re: Dawlish Show - 12th April 2014
Hi munchalot - I would contact the show secretary on the schedule and ask her if she would accept a donation to the club of the pens. They would likely go to someone who would do them up and paint them then they could be sold to members. There is normally a list of members waiting for pens whether new or refurbished so I'm sure they would be grateful to have them

Okay. I'll save one for you. He has like 3 big boxes full of them.

Re: Dawlish Show - 12th April 2014
Can you check they are the wooden ones too as the BHA used to use a different type ( a plastic hagen) as show pens however these are not used by the NHC which uses the wooden pens. The BHA does not exist anymore.
If they are plastic though they may well still want them for transporting the sales / rehome hamsters
