Glad to hear that, I might try to go to the next one. I don't think my current hams would enjoy it, but maybe if I get Rolo nice and tame she could come for the pet show. We shall see.
I suppose for the real show hamsters they sort of get used to it, and aren't at all worried by people.

They do get used to being in the pen and being handled.
There are no pet classes at the outdoor shows Redsky (for safety reasons) so you wouldn't be able to enter a pet class till the first indoor show which I think might be the October Lymm show. Then there is Brockholes in November and Mapplewell in December. The outdoor shows are nice days out though and you could go to quite a few in West Yorkshire during the summer - Otley, Emly, Rotherham, Brinsworth.

That's fine by me, I might never take one of my own but I would love to see some real show hamsters. Is there somewhere that lists all of the shows? I am in West Yorkshire but only just, I'm on the boarder to Lancashire so anything that way I would like to know about too.
