I just got in too...Peanut slept the whole journey home and went straight to her nest in her cage. She is zonked out...too many cuddles I think

If this calms her down you lot can cuddle her more often

She's taken very well to the loofah chew thingys you gave us by the way!! She's zonked out in her wheel at the moment, I'm worried that sleeping there isn't good for her!! It can't be comfortable for her

I've never seen Belle sit so still (or just sit in my sleeve!) like she did this afternoon ... Thinking maybe she was a little scared - she kept hiding in my sleeve (or sometimes my armpit lol) and it was like she wanted me to protect her. Poor baby. She's sleeping now!

Awwww. I am gonna have to take Belle to the vet tomorrow if she doesn't eat something soon ... All she's had today is some apple ...

We had a great day yesterday, by the time we got home I didn't have the energy for the computer but it was definetly fantastic

I coped fine with the driving (we had a few breaks on the drive back) and both syrians had a great time. Fwirl is usually unstoppable but she did get a bit worn out in the end, Scamp being Scamp was still fairly energetic when we got back. Both slept well during the drive home - I'm not surprised after the time they spent out of their carriers lol

Scamp got very highly commended, Fwirl didn't place but we weren't expecting her to after she behaved perfectly for everything except the judging lol (she jumped down instead of being handled then, she's still a bit fussy about how she's picked up sometimes unfortunately - we're working on it though). Fwirl did see Lucinda again and spend a while with her which was great.

We were given some lovely hamster toys and bought a few fabric ones from the sales table too, I saw a friend I hadn't seen in years (and made her want a hamster), and... Erin let me handle a tame robo! We stayed until the end to see how Erin's robos did in main class, and she let me hold Tatty I know I'd heard about tame robos, even seen videos of tame robos, but he is incredible. Was so calm and well behaved, he was almost easier to handle than our syrians lol. That managed to be the moment that really made my day, so a huge thanks to Erin for making it happen

Was great to see everyone, and am glad it looks like everyone enjoyed themselves

I really enjoyed the day...I'm still shocked that Peanut got third in the female Syrian pet class! If any hamster was going to do something mischievous, it would have been her, but she was as good as gold! I couldn't believe she was the same Syrian who is usually manic, hyperactive and usually up to no good!

I'm blaming all of the cuddles she had...they must have calmed her down

The hardest part of the show? Erin, Dan and Kyrilliondaemon trying their hardest to get me to buy another hamster...and they almost succeeded!!! But I was very brave (or stupid) and resisted all through it. I did get peed on by one lil boy and went around for the rest of the day smelling of hammy wee...serves me right I guess
