i've never had a ham judged by Sue, so can't comment on her judging
i've only showed a syrian a couple of times and Andrew judged every time!

I'm sure you are a lovely, fair judge Sue!!

How on earth do you decide to enter out of your many hams though?
I have a good look at them all and write down the possibles on a sheet of paper. Then I write against each one what class they are in. Then if I have 3 or 4 in the same class I try and decide which 1 or 2 would do best in that class. Then I try and make sure that the number I take divides by 6 so I have full show pen carriers!! Nothing too scientific at all!!

oh my goodness... i just check Paddy hasn't gone and broke his tooth or grown a scent patch scab and if not then he gets entered..

it's all well and good people saying older hams shouldn't be entered, but i don't have any other ham! Paddy is my only sow ham!
i only have oscar and harvey for syrian and they both hate shows and don't do too well any more (oscar has browned and rubbed his skirt off completely and harvey is bald at the top and has a massive skirt at the bottom! they need to mix and match )

I can't wait to see you judge Sue.
It's great seeing the different perspectives of the judges, it helps us newcomers! Jean will be a new one for us too and we've yet to see Andrew judge syrians.
Hopefully, by the end of the year, we'll have seen everyone!

Jean is a pretty good judge, and quite consistent. She certainly knows a good hamster when she sees one!

I have just received my delivery of Finacard so will have some available for this weekend.
Please can I have a rough idea of orders for small and large bales of Finacard and sacks of Megazorb.
