Lymm's the last one for me til Brinsworth in July. i can get to quite few shows really without staying over. i was only at Bradford, Thame and Alcester because i stayed overnight. It's too far in one day. i don't go anything over about 2 hours. you've got to have a cut off point somewhere. Brinsworth is just over 2 hours so it's ok
The displays can be a bit of a pain because they do seem to decrease the number of actual midland shows. Not that i could get to Blenheim or the others even if they were a show. it's so weird that i'm a midland member and i can only go to 2 midland shows a year! although when i joined there was also great barr, but the one they changed that too is too far. There's a big gap really. there's all the southerny ones, then a big gap between birmingham and Lymm with nothing apart from Willington and kingswinford (the 2 midland ones i can go) and then the northern ones.
edit: it gave me an idea of a bordem buster task... i've drawn a demonstratory map!
Pink is northern shows, Blue is midland and yellow is southern. sorry i had to basically guess the southern as i have no idea
isn't it an excellent map
