Please note. No entries will be accepted after this date, except for pets which can be entered on the day and which should
be booked in before 2.00 pm. Labels will be ready for collection at the show. Cheques and Postal Orders should be made
payable to the MIDLAND HAMSTER CLUB.
Doors Open – 9 am. Stock to be benched by 10.00am, judging starts at 10.30 am prompt. Pets judged at 2.00pm.

Dwarfs may be shown in Syrian Hire Pens if no Dwarf Hire Pens are available. (Other conditions see below)
Sale of stock: Hamsters must be healthy and over 5 weeks old. No hamster for sale to be over 10 months old. The seller MUST provide a card giving hamsters date of birth, breeder's name and contact address or telephone number and a box
for their transportation home. A commission of 20% will be deducted for club funds. The Sales Manager has the right to refuse any stock without giving a reason. Please note only hamsters from members of the Midland Hamster Club, who have exhibited at least once, at any NHC affiliated Club show, will be accepted for sale.
SHOW PENS: A limited number of show pens are available for hire at £1 each (Maximum 5 per membership in first year and
3 Per membership in second year) Please order with entry and specify Syrian or Dwarf. To be returned clean to the Show
Secretary at the end of the show. You must supply your own shavings or sawdust for Shorthaired and Wood Based Cat Litter
for Longhaired hamsters.
DIRECTIONS:
Leave M4 at Junction 32. Take A470 North (Merthyr) for approx ½ mile. leaving at 1st exit Taffs Well, 1st left at roundabout
then 2nd left at next roundabout (Radyr B4262). Keep to road for 2 miles through 1st traffic lights and venue is just beyond
2nd lights. War memorial on Left, church and hall on right.. Parking in lane along side church.
A dog biscuit (which will be supplied by the club) and a piece of fruit or vegetable MUST be placed in the show
pen before benching.

This was a little tricky to read the duplicate classes as they are all on the same lines as the straights, I'm not sure if it would be better to edit it so it's a bit easier to understand?

Who else is going to this one then? Me, Mr Bobtail and my cousin (who owns her own mass of hamsters >.<) will be going to it as usual
We are bringing Kiku & Jení for the main classes, Thistle for her retirement show in the pet class and Professor Fat Face who will also be in the pet class! We also hope to come away with another little Syrian while we are there, still sorting out the plans for this possible newbie hamster though

I really, really hope we are... Not sure who we'd be taking yet though and I haven't got my work schedule yet so its starting to torment me... I'm in work tomorrow morning but theres next to no chance of the schedule being done and its late now and after that I've got time off and won't know until the 30th - the new schedule starts on the 2nd. I've asked for the day off but the change in contract means its not guaranteed that I'll get it off anymore.

Edit - For anyone whos attending we're seriously debating opening up the choice of our attendees to a public vote. If you have a preference about anyone you want to meet then let me know - AFTER I get my work schedule because until then I really, really can't plan or I'll be even more gutted if I can't go.

I will be there with The Puffinator.. I dont think Im bringing the baby as she's very ickle and I dont think will be calm enough for the show and my nerves and worries will be massive with just Puff

Lol well I do have plans to nick Puffy But no the main plans are getting Mr.B his Syrian! We still haven't had a definite answer back on whether he is allowed a caged pet at his place but we are pushing for an answer soon so we will have time for getting a cage! He wants a LH male and I have suggested a Sable because they are lovely but he doesn't like the fact that the skirt is a light colour (says it looks odd on them) so I also suggested Sable Banded because their light skirt just makes them look more stripy! He has mentioned getting another BEC though so we will see

Just got my work schedule, I got my requested day off so we will be there
No idea on which hams though, probably Scamp plus another cage or two. Its just for pet class so we'll see.

Aw I really wanted to come to the Cardiff show, it would have been my first hamster show. I've got a hen party that day so won't be able to. I'm gutted, would have like to seen what goes on & maybe have entered Domino.

I'm going away sometime over this particular weekend, but I am trying to plan my flights for the Monday instead so I can come to this show, really excited for it
