Alcester Show - 1st March 2008

I've sent in my entries for Alcester - we are taking less this week so I do have spare pens if anyone needs to borrow.

Mollz, I always get emails back - I'd phone and check yours has arrived.

I'll feel mean hassling them by phoning - but I don't want to turn up and end up without Gizzy being entered I don't know what to do!

Sue doesn't tend to email to confirm. She didn't at the last show I entered and she was Sec of, but on the day it was fine.

All you can do is turn up on the day, I expect everything is fine I expect it is a case of what do you reply with - just ok?

Yeah, I guess there isn't anything to say in reply. I juts wanted to double check as it is my first time.
Do I jus turn up on the day, say my name and what class I'm entering and they will give me the sticker? Or do I just give Gizmo to them and they put the sticker on and put him on the table? Does he have to be put in a specific place?
I'm going to have to come and find one of you to help me out if you don't mind

You go to the table by the door and Sue should be sitting there and there will be an envelope for you with your stickers on. You pay Sue your entry fees and pick up your envelope, then go and beg Julie or Leanne for help. (Or me but its all new to me too).

On the day you find the show sec, say who you are cos they won't know you, and they will give you your label probably in an envelope which you stick on the top left of the show pen. Then you take him to the table, which runs in order, so to the very left will be class 1, and then class 2, class 3 and so on, with non standard being at the other end to the right. Then place him in order, so say you are class 3, then it would run top to bottom with 301, 302, 303, 304 and so on.. does that make sense?!

I'm sure I'll be fine - but I'm a worrier so everything plays on my mind! I really look forward to seeing you all again and maybe meet some others as well! I'm also worrying about being late - don't want to annoy people on my first time

Hmm...she emailed me back last time for Kingswinford - perhaps that was because i was after show pens and asked her about them. I haven't had an email back either - all of them can't have gone astray so I guess it's ok!
