US- North East (New England)?
Anyone know of any shows in the US, particularly in the New England region? I'm very interested in getting involved in shows and also meeting US based hamster breeders. I'd love to start breeding in a couple of years when I'm more established with a long term home and a steady income, and I thought if I got involved now I could start to learn a lot of important information from more experienced breeders and show hamster owners.

I'm not aware of anything happening near me Some breeders toward Ohio, and occasional others here and there, but all hard to find. As far as actual associations and shows--pretty sure there aren't any here.

If you find any, I would be very interested to know! I suspect there's not that many hamster shows this side of the pond...

I'm not sure we even have hamster shows in the US...I'd be interested in going to one if they exist!

Re: US- North East (New England)?
If we had any shows, I would have likely stumbled upon some announcements by now. So far, I haven't even seen any clubs / societies here, let alone shows... and I've looked more than once. It's even difficult to find breeders, because many sites listing them seem to be incomplete and out of date. There was American Hamster Association at some point, but I don't think it went far. Your best bet is to move to California They have California Hamster Association and actual shows there.

So, there's five of us in this thread, we can start a hamster association ourselves 'East Coast North American Hamster Association' or something, lol
