you should definately try and get to a hamster show, there are many shows held around the uk throughout each year, so i am sure there will be one close to you, what area are you in?
Hamster Shows are very fun and a great place to meet other hamster owners.

Any hamster can be entered in to a hamster show (apart from hybrids) but obviously a hamster that is too old or too young would probably not do very well, and it is a good idea to check your hamster's overall condition before entering them.
Each hamster gets handled and judged on a number of different things, please see the following link for how the marks are given:
Exhibition Standards
Each hamster will be judged on how well it conforms to it's colour if it is standardised, but if the hamster is a non standard colour then it goes in to the non standard class and will be judged on everything except colour.
