your doing gcse's right...so sit on sofa and revise for about 20mins in her view, then stop and sniffle a bit. keep revising put in a few sighs...then just start crying. get ur mum to comfort you and when she asks whats wrong say your having trouble concentrating because you dont see the point in getting grades for maths and english when you cant help somethign that is truely in need..tell her the story and see where that gets u

and if she did say no and we had her on 'foster'...my bf wouldnt have to know hehe it would be...well FM is doin exams atm, she'll come get her in the summer...

You already have the cage so she will not take up anymore room, one more will hardly make any difference to how much food and bedding etc you have to buy, and you have to buy it for the others anyway.

Oh, what else can I think of . . .

She is quite close to you so really easy to pick up.

Maybe try a bit of reverse psyhcoligy - tell your mum that she is so pretty that someone has probably already snapped her up, but it can't hurt to contact the seller and find out.

yeh...someone on the hamster forum wants her but you know that she already has 4 and doesnt have a spare cage so it wouldnt be fair on the hamster when you have a cage

I am pretty sure I know the person rehoming that hamster, and I know she wouldn't let the girl go to the first person who came along offering a fiver. She is someone who both breeds for show and takes in rescues to re-home so little sable hammy is at no risk of being turfed out on the street.

i'm not doing my gsces quite yet. But i'm doing my exams to get into my gsce sets! So they are still important cause i f i fail them i will get low gsces too
But anyway yes its a good plan, but i'm not a very good actor.
I read a article
which gave me some good ideas, i think i may write a proper persuasive essay from what i learnt in class.
Also use the argument of the fact i have two already and have proved i can look after them, i will pay for everything and one more won't hurt!
Thanks guys, thats the problem i know i have to act fast otherwise i'll loose her and my mums not exactly someone who can be worked on overnight
